Casing & Tubing

These are steel pipes for casing and tubing, designed to extract crude oil or gas from beneath the ground or underwater. Often referred to as oil country tubular goods (OCTG), they contrast with those meant for transport. These pipes are primarily constructed from hot rolled steel products and must possess high strength, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance.

① Casing: A steel pipe placed into an oil or gas well to prevent the well walls from collapsing and to block the intrusion of water or soil.

② Tubing: A steel pipe set within the casing of an oil or gas well, facilitating the extraction and transport of oil or gas from the well to the surface.
